When you are on one way road there is no opposite traffic. At the end of one way road no opposite traffic. At the end of the one way road you might have 2 exits with two “Give way” sign on pavement, to turn left and to turn right, try to judge it in good time and if you intend to turn right stay on the right side if you are in the middle or on the right side of the road already. Move to left exit only if you intend to turn left.

Standard unleaded petrol is 91. Premium unleaded is both 95 and 98. Those numbers – 91, 95 and 98 – are the so-called ‘octane rating’ of the fuel.

Remembering tip:
UNDERTAKING ^ (NEARSIDE – CAR – OFFSIDE) ^ OVERTAKING
UNDER=NEAR —— CAR —— OFF=OVER
It is rule for safety. If you moving to right lane – before signaling right check right mirror for traffic following you, if it’s safe switch. If you returning to left lane, check left mirror first if it’s safe signal left and start moving to the left. When exiting roundabout and signaling left check right mirror afterwars for overtakers.
Position left – if you need 1st exist
Position left – if you need 2nd exist. 2nd exist could be straight driving
Position right – if you need 2nd exist and you see information to position right even for 2nd exist. 2nd exist could be straight driving
Position right – if you need 3rd, 4rd, 5th and so on
Think of roundabout as 12 o’clock. If exit is before or on 12 o’clock signal left on entering roundabout. If the exit is even slightly after 12 o’clock signal right when entering roundabout. For example, in Pinner mini rounabout has 2nd exit very slightly after 12 o’clock. If you do 2nd exit, signal right and during exiting no need to quickly signal left or cancelling the signal as it is mini roundabout.
In normal roundabout on exit, of course you must signal left. Even if left lane is blocked by competitive driver and you decide to exit on right lane, keep signalling left to show your intention of leaving roundabout to the car/s benind you.
General scenario how to switch lane before leaving the roundabout: So, you are on the right lane and leaving on 3rd exit. You pass 1st exit and it’s entry as normal, on approach to 2nd exit – pass exit part and start checking left/interior mirrors and drift your car to it’s entry where cars are waiting to emerge into roundabout. Don’t signal yet, just drift, look to cars at the roundabout as they should not emerge and give way to you, check left/interior mirrors, when you drift close enough to the left lane and everything else is safe to change lanes – signal left and switch lanes quickly. By following such scenario you protect yourself from late and risky last minute lane change on 3rd exit. This way any other car will obey and stay behind you as you will have a priority leaving the lane first, just when leaving quick check the right lane for possible overtakers.

Practical,
Tips.
When you waiting at a stop line and have a car on your right judge whether to go or not this way:
At a crossroad – if you have a time to walk through the road till the other side (till the kerb on the other side) then go, means car on your right is too far / too slow for you
At a roundabout – if you have a time to jog through the road till the other side then go, means car on your right is too far / too slow for you

Practical.
1. A – obstruction on my side, road driveway for both cars, oncoming car has the same distance to obstruction as me – don’t slow down or stop as i can pass the obstruction on my wide of the road without crossing the central broken line.
2. B – obstruction on my side, road is slight narrow but has driveway for both cars, oncoming car has the same distance to obstruction as me – slow down but don’t stop as i can pass the obstruction on my wide of the road without crossing the central broken line.
3. C – obstruction on my side, road is narrow but has driveway for both cars, oncoming car is closer to obstruction than me / faster than me – slow down but don’t stop as the car will pass obstruction before me
4. D – obstruction on my side, road is narrow and driveway only on oncoming car’s side, oncoming car has the same speed as me – stop well behind the obstruction, let oncoming car pass then drive through by passing the obstruction on other side of the road
When passing the obstruction and return to left lane – check you left mirror after you pass the stationary car or any obstruction.
It is logical to check if stationary car started moving or any motorcyclist turned into the road on the left and now could be on your left.
