Main beam headlights are running

Front fog lights are running

Amber, orange or yellow dashboard lights symbolise
something requires attention
Red lights will generally symbolise something needs needs attention
much sooner
Red flashing lights or lights accompanied by an audible sound will require
immediate attention where safety may become an issue or potential damage to the vehicle engine
Rear fog lights are running

When it’s safe show how-to open and close your and instructor’s side windows.
Automatic buttons:
1. Nearest button is driver’s side window. Push it down to open a window. Pull it up to close a window
2. Next to nearest button is instructor’s side window. Push it down to open a window. Pull it up to close a window
When it’s safe show how you demist the front windscreen
When it’s safe show you to signal a horn
When it’s safe show how you turn on a rear demister
1. Turn on ignition
2. In demister controls do the following:
2.1 Set air flow
2.2 Set fan speed
2.3 Set the temperature
3. Vents open and direct to windows
4. Turn on Rear Heater Screen (a button with 3 heating waves going up)
When it’s safe show where you switch dipped headlights
When it’s safe turn on a front windscreen wipers
When it’s safe turn on a rear windscreen wiper
1. Locate Rear Wiper Control
2. Operate as in car’s manual
3. Check that the window has been cleared (by looking to interior mirror)
1. Turn on ignition
2. Switched headlight to main beam
3. Check with main beam warning light (blue lighting icon)
1. Turn on the ignition
2. Turn on dipped headlights
3. Check warning light is on
4. Explain when dipped headlights / fog lights needs to be switched on
